New to online sports betting? Here's a simple walkthrough of how it works on the 358jl platform from first log-in to getting your winnings back in PHP.
Register at 358jl — it takes just a few minutes. You'll need a valid email address and mobile number. Complete the KYC verification to secure your account and unlock full access to all betting features.
Add funds to your account using Philippine online banking or a supported local e-wallet. All deposits are in Philippine Peso — no currency conversion needed. Check the platform for currently supported payment channels.
From the main menu, go to Sports. Browse by sport category or check the upcoming events list. You can filter by league, date, or bet type to find exactly the game you want.
Click on the odds you want to back. Your selection appears in the bet slip. Enter your stake in PHP, review the potential payout, and confirm your bet. For live games, act quickly as odds change with the game.
If your bet wins, the payout is credited to your 358jl account balance. From there you can withdraw to your GCash, Maya, or Philippine bank account. Processing times vary by payment channel.
358jl supports multiple odds formats including decimal and Asian handicap. If you're new to betting, decimal odds are the most straightforward — the number shown is your total return per ₱1 staked, including your original stake.
Set a fixed budget for each session and stick to it. Spreading your bets across multiple events rather than putting everything on one game is a common approach to managing risk. Never bet more than you can comfortably afford to lose.
The 358jl sports interface is fully responsive. You can bet on PBA games during halftime, follow football matches on the go, or place pre-match bets from anywhere in Manila, Cebu, or Davao without needing a desktop.
Sports have always been a big part of Filipino culture. Whether it's gathering around a TV for a PBA Finals game, watching a world title boxing bout at a local bar in Quezon City, or following a national volleyball team's run in an international tournament, Filipinos are passionate, knowledgeable sports fans. At 358jl, that passion connects directly to a sports betting experience that's built with the local market in mind.
Everything on the platform runs in Philippine Peso. There's no need to convert currencies, deal with exchange rate fluctuations, or figure out foreign payment systems. You fund your account in PHP, place your bets in PHP, and receive your payouts in PHP. It's a straightforward experience that removes unnecessary friction.
The PBA is the centrepiece of local basketball betting at 358jl. With three conferences per season — the Philippine Cup, Commissioner's Cup, and Governors' Cup — there's a steady stream of games and betting opportunities throughout the year. Pre-match odds, Asian handicap lines, and over/under totals are typically available for conference games, with live in-play betting becoming available as more games are streamed and covered.
Volleyball has seen a surge in popularity, largely driven by the UAAP season and the rise of the Premier Volleyball League. 358jl's coverage includes both leagues when available, letting fans put a little extra stake on their favourite team's next match. Boxing remains deeply connected to Filipino national identity, and 358jl covers major international bouts including those featuring Filipino fighters, with markets ranging from outright winner to method of victory and round betting on selected cards.
Beyond local sports, 358jl's international coverage is extensive. Football is the most popular sport in the world and 358jl reflects that with wide coverage across the English Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, UEFA Champions League, and AFC competitions. During major international tournaments, football betting options expand even further.
Esports deserves a special mention for a Filipino audience. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has a huge competitive scene in the Philippines, with the MPL Philippines among the most-watched esports leagues in the region. 358jl's esports coverage extends to these tournaments, as well as international events in Dota 2, League of Legends, and CS. For a lot of younger Filipino bettors, esports betting at 358jl is just as compelling as traditional sports.
Sports betting should be a form of entertainment, not a primary source of income. Outcomes are never guaranteed — even the most informed bettors lose regularly, and no strategy eliminates risk entirely. At 358jl, we take responsible gaming seriously. All players must be 21 years of age or older, and we encourage everyone to set a clear budget before they start betting.
If you feel your betting habits are getting out of hand, our Responsible Gaming page has practical tools and guidance on managing your activity. Setting deposit limits, taking breaks, and keeping sessions time-limited are all healthy habits that make sports betting more enjoyable in the long run.
